Halloween Spooktacular 2025: Trick or Treat Location Registration

2025 Event Date: Thursday, October 30, 2-5pm

 

What is the Business Spooktacular & why participate? 

  • READ BEFORE REGISTERING: The majority of the foot traffic for this event takes place DOWNTOWN. If your business is not located in the BID/Downtown, you are welcome to register, but please be aware that traffic at your location will be lighter. You will also need to do your own promo and marketing to bring people into your business, in addition to the promo we do for the event.
  • This event is only open to businesses located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

 

  • The Sun Prairie Business Spooktacular is a family friendly, fun, and safe trick or treating opportunity for the community. This event is an excellent way to get lots of community members into your business that may not have been there before! This is a great community outreach opportunity, as well. Your business name and location will be placed on a map/stamp card for participants. Businesses will validate each card that comes through with a stamp, sticker, or initial.
  • The Piano Gal Shop will promote participating businesses and the event on Facebook, Instagram, local community pages, The Star, press releases in multiple publications, and more.
  • Downtown businesses: An estimated 100-400 people per hour come through your doors (varies by location and weather). (non-downtown businesses foot traffic varies greatly depending on your location and how much your business promotes your businesses participation.
  • Plan specials, a deal, BOGO, and/or activity for that day/evening! Share what your business will be doing by the deadline and it will be promoted, as well!
  • There will be Halloween “character” visits by various fun characters provided by the East and West High School theater students in the Downtown area & spooky music played downtown over the outdoor speakers, a public piano, Balloon photo frame area from Pop Art Entertainment, and more!
  • DECORATING CONTEST: The decorating contest is back! If you would like to enter the decorating contest, please select that in the registration form. There will be cash prizes as follows- 1st place: $100, 2nd place: $75, 3rd place: $50. Judges will visit all participating businesses to check out the decor and take pictures. Winners will be announced by Nov. 3.

Stamp Card Contest:Donations are needed for the punch card contest prizes! Please let us know if you’re interested in donating a gift card or small retail item or service for the prizes.

Cost: $25:  This fee will cover costs to print maps, promotional materials, and marketing, and other expenses. Please keep your tab open after you submit your registration. You will be immediately re-directed to a payment link.
